PREACHING LIBERATION.

In the DNA of the OGL is the didactic and informative fact. Xacobe Martínez Antelo, artistic director of the project, has been developing didactic concerts and master classes for more than 20 years, and for all types of audiences. Xacobe discovers Soundpainting in 2001 from the hand of its creator, Walter Thompson, and after training with him, acquires the status of Certified Soundpainter. He has taught and shared Soundpainting with professional musicians, bands, conservatory students, teachers, dancers, primary and secondary school boys and girls, seniors or groups with diverse abilities. As a musician, creator or artist, Soundpainting is a turning point in the way you relate to the body, to space, to the instrument, to listening, to improvisation, to prejudices, to limits and to blockages. This line of investigation came in touch soon with Conduction from Butch Morris, and the diversity of projects from the John Zorn's cosmos, fundamental referents for the ORQUESTRA GALEGA DE LIBERACIÓN. 

 

In the field of dissemination, in addition to didactic concerts and master classes, the ORQUESTRA GALEGA DE LIBERACIÓN proposes joint programs and collaborations with other groups and stable formations of any discipline. Music Bands, Orchestras, Companies, etc...
